Great Games Start with Great People! This is an exciting time to join us! We are actively seeking an Associate Software Developer in our global IT organization's Corporate Applications department to be responsible for development & maintenance projects across a variety of applications. This is a hands-on role focused on identifying, planning, coding, and implementing new features and functions based on business needs. This person will work closely with the Business and other teams across the organization to identify practical solutions (existing and/or new) and will participate in the development, testing, and ongoing support of those solutions.
Covid-19 Hiring Update : We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and are continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position and may remain permanently remote full-time.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities :
- Partner with multi-functional teams to craft and implement solutions consistent with industry standard methodologies
- Support project implementation and execution
- Balance request queue SLAs alongside contributions to longer-term projects
- Build and maintain documentation, including functional design, technical design, and training materials
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to support business operations
- Develop appropriate test scenarios and scripts
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year(s) experience with either Service Now or Salesforce administration and development
- Proficiency in at least one development language (such as Java or C#) and eager to develop additional proficiencies as needed (such as Python, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS)
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time across multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with a geographically diverse team with varying levels of skill
- Solid grasp of data management concepts and experience with an ETL tool
- Basic knowledge of JSON, XML, SOAP, and REST
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (routing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Some data modeling skills and familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, or MS SQL Server as examples)
- Zeal to quickly learn and embrace technologies, self-driven, self-learner
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
- Administration and support for Atlassian applications (Jira DC, Confluence DC, Trello)
- Familiarity and confidence in using Git and Microsoft Visual Studio Code
- Certifications for any of the following technology providers: Atlassian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Smartsheet
