Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented game designer to help us make quests for World of Warcraft. In this role, you will be applying your creativity and technical design skills to implement fun and engaging quests and narrative content. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, outstanding people skills, boundless creativity, a strong visual aesthetic, knowledge of World of Warcraft, and a passion for playing games.

What you will do…
- Use our proprietary tools to craft engaging quest content that take players on an exciting journey through our beautiful zones
- Collaborate with quest, narrative, and level designers to create great content that fits in the world that we’re building
- Work with your lead and producers to help plan your work and ensure it strikes the right balance between quality and the time it takes to create
- Participate in and contribute to a culture of inclusion and diversity
To succeed, you must have…
- Content creation experience. More senior candidates will be those who have creatively owned complete implementations from concept to delivery
- Strong writing and character development skills
- Ability to work creatively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience playing World of Warcraft, and an understanding of its history and characters
- Passion for playing and making computer games
We’re also interested in hearing about…
- Your game design experience, particularly on MMO / RPG centric content
- Any experience you have managing, and/or mentoring others
