Associate Software Quality Engineer(Technical Development Support)

Duration: Full time, Monday to Friday, flexible hours

The Associate Quality Engineer will be working alongside both Quality Assurance teams and development partners to create, maintain, and enhance automation scripts. In this role you will be able to provide technical insights and expertise to support comprehensive automated verification. This position works collaboratively with the development and QA teams.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience with testing web application and desktop'

Experience with implementing automated functional tests, and testing frameworks.

Experience managing project requirements and setting the standard for outstanding testing.

Familiarity with any source control, debuggers, and other software development tools. (e.g. Perforce, Visual Studio)

Experience testing configurable tooling.

Experience with OOP languages (preferred language C# )

Front End Automation (Selenium and stuff)

Experience with coding and/or unit tests

Skill/Knowledge Required: •BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
•Advanced knowledge of Software Development Life-Cycle processes (Agile/Scrum/Kanban)
•Professional QA member
•Professional software experience using C#, Java, JavaScript HTML, etc. o Ability to build and use internal tools
•Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies

Unit testing
Update scripts
Debug process
Fix bugs on existing scripts

•Expert database knowledge: MySQL, SQL server, Elastic Stack
•Knowledge of source code management tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
•Ability to present to multiple management levels
•Ability to work independently or as a team member
•Confident, articulate, and professional communication skills(verbal and written)

Daily/ Weekly Tasks:

Maintain Enforcement matrix testbed. Maintain and add new tests. (Java)
Maintain Enforcement integration & functional testbed. Maintain and add new integration/functional tests. (Java)
Maintain and create functional tests for security features in application server (UTAS). (Java)
Maintain and create functional tests for security features in the client game . (C++)
Maintain and develop tools for QV to test security features. (C#/Python)
Maintain and support automation of tests including the soak farm.
Monitor and report on test metrics such as code coverage in tests
