Quality Engineering [Security Testing]

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are also open to remote work options.

Duration: Full time, Monday to Friday 9:00am -5:30pm

We are hiring a SDET who can work on testing the security features within game builds. The SDET in our team will work to support our client's security team in their ongoing fraud investigations. This is a small group of engineering team which works on high visibility security actions for a AAA video game.

Skill/Knowledge Required:
- Support existing testbed
- Proficiency in C++/C#/Java to build and maintain tools
- Scraping is another useful skill
- dashboard creation
- Previous experience in a test engineering or test automation role considered a benefit.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in C++/C#/Java
• Previous technical industry experience
• Experience working on tools, test automation and development process improvements
• Excellent communication skills
• Presenting ideas and progress to stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life-Cycle processes
• Modern testing methods
• Software design patterns
• Continuous integration
• Ability to estimate effort (time) needed to complete tasks
• Familiar with current generation consoles and devices (Xbox One, PS4, Windows 10, OSX, iOS and Android, etc.)

Daily/weekly tasks

• Work alongside a small team of Software Engineers
• Building tools for quality engineering
• Follow quality standards through code reviews and design approvals
• Test automation scripts
• Collect and verify technical requirements for the project
• Participate in the implementation plan that includes schedule, priorities, dependencies and deliverables
• Collaborate with the team, driving innovation, and quality testing
• Build relationships with local and remote developers and stakeholders
• Takes responsibility for all tasks related to his/her assigned features
