EAX QA is looking for you to fill an Associate Quality Designer (AQD) role for the EAX QA Team. You will manage the guidance of the team's quality strategies for applied automation strategies. You oversee the quality aspects of a set of varied technical capabilities that can include APIs, web applications, design systems, client applications, and publishing pipelines.

As part of the EAX Quality Verification and Standards team, you will be part of the EAX product team that creates the strategy and implementation of EA's network helping EA's community of players connect to one another and to the games they love to play. Our work includes aspects including EA.com; in-game experiences and strategies to connect players across platforms; EA Play, our cross-platform subscription; the EA App; and a host of other consumer experiences and strategies. You will report to the Quality Engineering Development Manager for EAX QV.

What you'll do:

  • Provide leadership to the EAX business from an Analyst perspective for applied automation strategies
  • Help promote an automation roadmap and establish goals for with EAX QA and DEV partners for EAX products
  • Contribute to long-range plans for quality strategies for EAX platforms
  • Use metrics and analytics to monitor and report on the product health, and identify essential issues to resolve
  • Help assess the impact of the product features and their influence on important performance metrics
  • Mentor the analyst team through informal/formal coaching and leading by example
  • Help drive Bug Prevention and Containment initiatives for EAX QA
  • Foster strong relationships with senior members of the development, product and design teams

The next great Associate Quality Designer for EAX QA also needs:

  • 3+ years Quality Analyst experience
  • Experience with API tools such as Postman
  • Familiarity with Origin & EA Desktop products and offers
  • Familiar with automated testing and benefits
  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA
