Job Description
What we’re looking for?
Associate QA Analysts are responsible for measuring the quality of the products delivered. Each member of the team must be able to analyze and evaluate all aspects of a mobile video game and the pipelines that create them.
Missions:
- Ensure our games meet the highest standards of quality on all supported platforms,
- The user experience is compelling and follows the requirements established by the creative teams,
- Validate that the game architecture has strong foundations and robust stability,
- Design and execute test conditions that have a very high coverage percentage,
- Identify and report application defects and their source,
- Deliver test results with well-documented and risk based reports,
- Participate in designing tools to facilitate the testing of the applications,
- Participate in improving test methodologies and procedures for the department,
- Work closely with peers to train, exchange, and challenge each other on respective expertise.
Qualifications
You must have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in software quality assurance,
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a video game environment,
- Experience in Apple, Google Play and Amazon Kindle guidelines and certification,
- Diploma in software testing or other quality assurance certification,
- Excellent writing skills in both English and French,
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills,
- Ability to work under pressure, to accept directions, and to handle multiple tasks,
- Work well in cooperation with other members of a team,
- Positive attitude and ability to provide and receive constructive criticism.
We’re even more interested if you have the following skills:
- Experience with data analysis in a quality control environment,
- Knowledge of back-end mechanics (APIs) and client-server communications,
- College or University diploma in Computer Science or related field,
- Understanding of how to use Unity game editor,
- Experience with version control software.
