The ideal candidate will join the diverse FIFA Competitive Gaming team as an Associate Program Manager and be responsible for delivering the strongest possible FIFA Competitive Gaming programs across key global markets. You’ll join a passionate and tightly integrated team that develops and executes strategies dedicated to exciting our players and maximising engagement from fans around the world. Your collaborative mindset will help build partnerships with other internal EA teams and externally with third-party partners, football leagues and agencies around the globe .

Responsibilities

The Associate Program Manager will help to lead EA SPORTS FIFA’s Competitive Gaming initiatives worldwide, but with a particular focus on the UK and Nordics markets in collaboration with our key Official Football League partners. Working in partnership with other relevant EA teams, these esports programs will engage and enthuse players and viewers globally.

Create and drive programs focused on:

• Supporting the Competitive Gaming Program Manager, the lead for a variety of EA’s Official Football Leagues, working closely with League representatives.
• Being the Competitive Gaming key contact for EA’s Marketing and Partnership teams in the UK and N ordics ; collaborating and developing activities and content to maximise marketing value and viewership within the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series
• Assisting in the creation and development of marketing strategy and execution for key FIFA esports programs in-market.
• Creating meaningful relationships with territory relevant tournament organizers and agencies tasked with executing ‘best in class’ programs.
• Working with key football organisations, leagues, partner football clubs and esports teams to grow FIFA esports market share in key regions.
• Providing consultation back to the FIFA C ompetitive Gaming team on activity in the market with relevant insight relating to esports and football.
• Collating and fielding requests for all FIFA C ompetitive Gaming programs in the region .
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams e.g. Legal, Finance
• Some international and domestic travel.

Key Requirements

• English business language fluency required.
• +3 years overall business experience
• Experience of at least two of the following business areas
  • Video games
  • Traditional sports
  • E sports
• A fan of the EA SPORTS FIFA game
• A personal interest in any esport (where the candidate does not have business experience of esports)

Preferences

• Business proficiency in any other languages outside of English .
• Experience of working with a sports league or federation of any traditional sport or esport.
• Experience in marketing and promotion of esports or sports.
• Experience of working in remote teams.
