Associate Product Marketing Manager, Niantic Global Marketing [Contract]

Niantic is looking for an Associate Product Marketing Manager to join the Global Marketing team and help manage communications and go-to-market planning for Niantic’s brand marketing & partnerships initiatives, and our live and future slate of titles. The ideal candidate has an existing passion for Niantic products and is able to balance multiple responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines. In this role, you will work closely with various cross-functional teams to execute on go-to-market strategies and tactics. Most of all you'll be an integral part of the Niantic marketing team with boundless opportunities to learn and grow.
This is a contractor position and the work should be performed based on service agreement and SOW. Niantic will not offer Contractor direct employment contract, salary, benefits, equities, or any compensation associated with employment.
Responsibilities
- Help define and execute go-to-market strategies for new and live products in close coordination with cross-functional partners.
- Craft key marketing copy and assets for social, push, email, and UA channels using internal and agency resources.
- Support go-to-market tactics such as positioning, naming, external communications, competitive analysis, project management and audience research.
- Collaborate with the Community team to identify and produce evergreen marketing content and respond to user feedback.
- Manage co-marketing partnerships and paid sponsorship opportunities for live and future titles.
- Work with external partners to secure approvals for game initiatives and comms.
- Coordinate with Google Play and the Apple App Store to generate assets for promotional features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to cultivate strong working relationships with project team members, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Project Management, ideally for a live service product.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.

- Proficiency in G Suite is a plus.
