Associate Product Manager, Esports

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced Associate Product Manager, Esports to build and manage local capabilities that localize our global esports programs in Simplified Chinese Language.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management, proven history in broadcast, live event or content production, a passion for esports, strong problem-solving skills, and experiences of managing complex project with diverse stakeholders. The candidate should also have experience working with global teams, an understanding of local and international media content landscape, and hold themselves to an unwavering quality bar.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage the local capabilities to localize global esports programs, including live broadcast, studio show, long and short form of videos, and other forms of media assets
- Source, evaluate, and supervise production partners who execute local production of global programs
- Work with global product managers and regional leadership to create localization solutions that accomplish creative, technical and budgetary expectations
- Manage production partners and ensure high-quality and impactful localization broadcast execution
- Work with leadership team to develop and execute best practices for monitoring, analyzing and reporting of key performance metrics as related to the programs
- Establish and manage communication pipelines with production partner, regional leadership, global product managers, and various internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain exceptional relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to the localized creative vision for Overwatch League and other Activision Blizzard Esports global programs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 4+ years working experience in Gaming, Sports, Broadcast or equivalent industry
- 2+ years working experience in product management or equivalent role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of event management, broadcast technology and content production
- In-depth knowledge of gaming industry, esports ecosystem and media platform landscape
- Experience in managing a budget and working with international teams
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English; fluent in written and verbal communications
- Ability to work flexible shifts for global live broadcast
- Passion for the gaming industry and esports
