Associate Producer

Key Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As an Associate Producer, you’ll partner with the team’s production staff. Using excellent communication and great project management, you will work with the team and team leadership to drive and report on development progress for the game. You have prior experience in game/software development and a keen knowledge of how each discipline operates and interacts. Being self-motivated, having the ability to anticipate production issues and find effective solutions are also critical to your success.

Essential Job Functions:

· Work with internal and external developers across all disciplines, with a focus on gameplay features and events

· Participate in the creation and tracking of schedules for game features and assets

· Facilitate the team’s task management, maintain task lists, backlogs, and communicate deadlines

· Assist with organizing agile ceremonies, supporting the team’s Product Managers, Producers with prioritizing the team’s backlog

· Maintain processes for sharing game information, art, slot, and audio assets with external teams

· Schedule, lead, and attend meetings; set agendas; take concise and comprehensive notes and distribute them to appropriate personnel. Provide weekly reporting to production

· Collaborate with other producers on project status, identifying risks, and opportunities

· Contribute to a positive and constructive work environment with unrelenting follow-through

· Navigate team dynamics, understand how to resolve conflict, and escalate issues

Requirements

Requirements

· Previous experience working as a producer or project manager

· Demonstrable ability to create, track, and maintain team schedules, and to drive projects to completion in a timely manner

· Skill to communicate effectively, correctly, and succinctly with key stakeholders

· Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive towards clarity

· Be a strong collaborative problem solver

· Knowledge of software development and project management, including agile/scrum frameworks

· Ability to work core hours with the Gold Fish Casino team in Texas

Pluses

· Prior experience in Social, Mobile, or Casino games

· A passion for fostering development processes and best practices

· Experience with online games

· Expertise with Jira, Confluence, Lucid Spark, Trello, or comparable applications

· Strong familiarity with Excel and SharePoint
