Associate Producer

Oxide Games is looking for an Associate Producer to join our team to facilitate communication, assist with problem solving and time management, as well as partner with multi-disciplinary teams: Engineering, Art, Design, QA, and Production. The ideal candidate will use their skills in communication, organization, and project management to help the Production team ferry the project toward a successful launch. This is an opportunity to work with a new IP AAA game with a first party publisher while gaining production experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Production team to create, implement, and modify a multifaceted game schedule
• Assist Producers by observing deadlines and tracking down cross discipline action items and escalating/resolving issues that might compromise the quality of delivery
• Keep production plans, backlogs, and bug queues updated and accurate to best facilitate forward planning of the project
• Work closely with all disciplines to understand development needs as well as be able to iterate and adapt to new processes
• Work with Production and other departments to assist with adherence to schedules

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to think through problems to find the best solution
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to solve problems in an efficient manner
• Knowledge of game development processes such as agile and waterfall methodologies
• Understand the importance of deadlines and their overall impact on the project

As a plus:

• BA/BS
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps
• 1+ years in game development and/or production.
• Shipped one or more games
