Associate Producer

Certain Affinity brings an exceptionally talented group together to form the largest independent developer in Austin, Texas, and we opened a second studio in Toronto, Canada, last year. We’re best known for co-developing numerous AAA FPS games, though we are also creating compelling new games of our own.
Certain Affinity is currently hiring an Associate Producer to complement our production team. This person will be responsible for working with design, art, engineering, and production leads in order to deliver features and content on time and to a level of quality that will thrill our users.
Responsibilities
- Assist your production peers in all areas of the development process
- Facilitate communication, ensure timely dissemination of information across the team
- Organize data and find new ways to share information through e-mail, Slack, Jira, and like products
- Help track and maintain production schedules
- Manage one or more functional strike teams to ensure all feature goals are delivered on a timely basis
- Facilitate the development and execution of AAA quality by championing consumer experience
Requirements
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and scheduling skills
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to translate creative and technical discussions into readable and understandable summaries without losing significant concepts or details
- Familiarity with traditional project management methodologies, particularly, how to manage disparate disciplines toward common milestones
- Working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office, Slack, and Confluence
- Motivated / self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive “can do” attitude
- Works well within a highly collaborative environment
- Love and appreciation of video games across a variety of genres and platforms
- A desire to work in a diverse and inclusive environment
Extra Credit
- Shipped at least one AAA title on console or PC
- Hands-on development experience in any area – art, design, programming, QA, etc.
- Experience working with JIRA
- Familiarity with Agile and other traditional project management methodologies
