Job Description
As an Associate Producer at Ubisoft Annecy, you will be working together with the team at Massive Entertainment to create a new story-driven open-world video game set in the Star Wars galaxy. Our goal is to create a game and a story that bring both new and lifelong fans on an immersive and outstanding journey, which will stay with them for years to come.
You implement the best processes, methods and tools to deliver a quality project as quickly as possible and using the allocated resources. You guide a multidisciplinary team on the feature cell of an ambitious game project. It is thanks to your ability to put in place well-designed work processes and clear expectations that your team members are able to deliver high quality items while optimizing talent.
Your daily life
- Take part in production management and optimize project monitoring documents
- Ensure good coordination between the different production teams
- Help establish and develop the organizational structure of the project in order to optimize the talents of the team
- Optimize and improve work methods to coordinate teams and work units simply and clearly
- Perform budget monitoring in collaboration with management control
- Help define project deliverables and risks by providing information on impacts in terms of resource planning of scope or future changes
- Ensure to obtain the expected level of quality for the game by implementing the best processes, methods and tools, by leading the team to achieve quality and meet deadlines
- Follow up on deliverables with production managers and production managers and keep the producer informed regularly
- Recommend action plans to deal with delays impacting content, timing or quality
- Evaluate versions delivered in terms of content and feedback to teams
- Determine human resource needs, establish and monitor hiring and assignment plans
Qualifications
What you bring to the team
- Multiple years of experience and shipped titles in the video game industry, in a producing or project management role.
- Great flexibility to adapt to a whole series of situations & manage interdependencies
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- An attentive, collaborative and innovative spirit
- A people-centered approach: of course you care about results, but you never lose sight of the dedicated people who produce them
