Associate Producer, Publishing

Bungie’s consumer insights team is responsible for delivering research and insights that inform our marketing and product development strategies. On a day-to-day basis, the Associate Producer will coordinate the successful completion of assigned tasks related to research across a breadth of methodologies – survey, interview, playtest, and competitive intelligence. They will communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding the planning, budget, logistics, execution, and delivery of research and insights. They will directly support our researchers and provide feedback and support to other producers and analysts within the publishing organization.
During these uncertain times and rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Bungie are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely. Once the studio is fully reopened, most work is expected to be performed in-person at our main headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and organize the consumer insights team’s daily efforts
- Track and prioritize project requests across a broad stakeholder group
- Gather and prepare all necessary specs required to build a research proposal
- Advocate and defend clear and realistic production plans for the team
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with external/internal teams and stakeholders on research projects
- Organize and track project budgets
- Research external research and service vendors, solicit bids, and make recommendations for contract selection
- Collaborate with IT to prepare research labs and configure game builds for playtesting
- Recruit and screen research participants for playtests and interviews
- Recognize inefficient processes and propose solutions or improvements
- Maintain the schedule, identify risks and escalate issues to the Analytics Director when appropriate
- Drive projects towards completion while maintaining expectations across a shifting marketplace
- Able to work with limited supervision and use independent judgment outside of established procedures when necessary
- Coordinate with the Analytics Director to deliver research participant targeting lists and define analytics projects that complement research insights
- Build and maintain documentation necessary for the successful planning and tracking of your area
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Relevant experience in a production or project management position
- Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills
- Ability to operate under strict deadlines
- Able to thrive in high-pressure, demanding situations
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with typical games and/or marketing research methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be adaptable and willing to handle daily randomization
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Basic analytics and data visualization skills to support report creation
- Experience with Confluence
