Your Mission
Activision is looking for a dynamic Associate Producer to join our Player Support planning and production team. We’re looking for someone with experience and passion for driving great player experiences across customer support and gaming. You’re a professional that can represent business objectives cross-functionally, advocate for the best player experiences, and help drive key initiatives from planning to launch.
This Associate Producer will help serve as a key advocate for Player Support: understanding business needs, examining policies and ensuring adherence. This role will drive new business functions, refine operating procedures and manage production components. This is a great opportunity to work cross-functionally with teams across Activision to improve existing processes and create new capabilities to keep players engaged and in the game!
This position is based in El Segundo, CA and may require up to 25% travel.
- Drive the creation of business plans, project schedules, and production pathways
- Establish competitive benchmark analysis, with recommendations to help influence business decisions and next steps
- Perform audits and investigate root-causes from failures to improve business practices
- Establish custom processes tailored to project scope, time, resources and dependencies
- Manage workflows for support features requiring production activities (requirements, design, analysis, feedback, development, testing, deployments)
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives, set priorities and drive throughput
- Understand and communicate key milestones, task deadlines, and stakeholder feedback to team members
- Predict, identify and propose solutions for impediments, project risks and issues
- Work with product managers and experience teams to design, enable and implement industry leading support features
- Collaborate with the teams to overcome complex problems, improve product quality and stay on track
- Improve existing and/or create new processes to help communication and efficiencies
- Assist with validating and measuring user experience success via usability testing and post deployment evaluation
- Partner with support analytics teams to understand key metrics enabling continuous improvement across support services (live-help, self-service)
Player Profile
Experience
- 2+ years as a producer, project manager, product manager or equivalent level position in a product development or creative environment
- Knowledgeable about video games and trends in the industry
- Understanding of project management methodologies (agile/scrum/kanban, waterfall).
Key Attributes:
- Degree in Project Management, Information Technology or related
- Outstanding organizational skills to multi-task demanding work priorities and effective use of resources
- Experienced performing in collaborative software (JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint, Google workspace)
- Strong tasks and issue-tracking processes with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Impressive talents to build compelling presentations and deliver to the applicable audience
- Proven organizational skills to work closely with many internal / external groups, and vendors
- Strong business acumen with a track record of leveraging data and analysis to make decisions and influence others
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, passionate about delivering the best user experience possible
- Experience creating effective Business Requirement Documentation
- Ability to create user experience documentation, user flows and wireframes

- Experience in a customer experience/support function
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM)
- Experience in user-experience and design applications (Photoshop, Visio)
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
