Associate Producer - Broadcast & Live Stream (Madden Competitive)

EA is seeking an experienced Associate Broadcast Producer to help drive Madden Competitive and various EA Broadcasts. The next step for this position will be promotion to a Producer / Showrunner.

In this position, you will play an integral role in the planning and execution of Madden Competitive Gaming content. You will be a key player in the development and execution of a wide range of content, including live events and video on demand. Expert production knowledge and communication skills are the key drivers of this role. The ideal candidate will have the production knowledge and expertise to thrive in the live and feature environments with the interpersonal skills to work with and lead multiple stakeholders simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a passion for competition and a creative imagination that has no end. This Associate Producer will think outside the box and push the limits and knows how to execute on those ideas.

Goal

This position is tailored to those aspiring to become producer/showrunner for live streams or broadcasts featuring sports and/or esports

Responsibilities

- Segment Producer on all broadcast shows, including the four Madden Majors, providing innovative ideas for analyst breakdowns & specialty segments

- Organize and secure elements for live broadcasts (eg video, graphics, features, research, scripts)

Build rundowns in appropriate program for show shells and/or show segments

- Collaborate & Generate Ideas for use across all platforms: Linear, Social & Digital

- Field Produce/ Coordinate coverage from site, including implementing/overseeing video, graphics and editorial content for live stream coverage of the Madden series.

- Conduct interviews, research & write stories

- Coordinate content and hilites with tape producer

- Provide relevant & innovative feature story ideas

- Develop sharable Social Media content

- Produce Central News Updates or Cut-Ins

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sports Production w ith an emphasis on live production

- Experience i n f ield production and tape production in game / event sports coverage – live producing is a bonus

- Creative writing and storytelling expertise a nd experience working on social media platforms

Preferred Experience

- Experience as Segment Producer, Field Producer, Tape Producer or Broadcast Associate producing graphics for network or regional live sports coverage

- Understanding of Twitch, YouTube and other major streaming and VOD digital media platforms strongly preferred

- Experience and understanding with/of NFL or NCAA College Football or Madden NFL 20 also preferred

- Strong, efficient writer of bumps and teases

- Esports experience preferred but not required

Additional Qualifications

- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays & an adjustable, team-based schedule

- Minimal travel is anticipated with this position
