Position Purpose

The Associate Producer works closely with the Producer to assist in managing various game development projects. This role a cts as vital link between production and other disciplines to ensure projects are delivered timely, on budget, and in-line with quality expectations.

As an Associate Producer, you will work within a team located on-site at our office in Eugene, Oregon and collaborate remotely with our partners at various sites.

Due to COVID-19, this position will start remotely until conditions permit returning to the office in Eugene, OR. Necessary hardware and software will be provided to support a remote work environment.

Essential J ob Functions

  • Support P roducers by executing on a variety of tasks related to the development of software projects, from concept to release and live operations
  • Assist in the development and tracking of project schedules, own specific areas of the project and associated product development tasks
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with resources throughout the organization and/or external vendors to eliminate roadblocks and ensure successful completion of tasks
  • Work with development team and QA in tracking incoming and outgoing assets/builds
  • Identify critical path tasks, risks, and issues and develop mitigation plans as necessary
  • Provide creative and critical feedback on projects against project goals and strategy
  • Support P roducers towards continuously assessing risk and resolving conflicts between budget, schedule, and project goals
  • Provide regular reports on team progress to stakeholders
  • Provide concise meeting summaries to project stakeholders

Qualifications/Skills Sets

  • Demonstrated project management practices and software development expertise
  • Proactive and collaborative communication skills
  • Motivated by careful, objective, and detail-oriented work
  • Strong interest in the gaming industry and a desire to create high-quality interactive experiences with an eye towards successful product launch
  • Experience with communication and collaboration software including, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with T ask tracking and Project Management software such as Project , JIRA, Trello, and SmartSheet
  • Live production, live game ops experience
  • Actively plays games and is engaged with the modern gaming landscap e
  • Gaming experience with games in the Madden NFL franchise highly preferred
  • Agile and/or PMI CAPM/PMP Certification

Education & Experience Required

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the same or a similar role, and some game development related technical skills or education
  • Education: Certificate of completion of Game Development (e.g. Lane Community College, Full Sail) or any University degree
