Blizzard Entertainment’s audio team is seeking an associate producer with audio post-production experience to support all of our franchises. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the audio post-production pipeline to produce audio content for videos. This includes interfacing closely with production leadership, picture editors, directors, audio staff, and external vendors to support the creation of audio content for a variety of linear media (e.g., promotional videos, trailers, teasers, etc.), as well as additional responsibilities such as creating contract requests, project time tracking, data archiving, and other production support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in audio and video production pipelines, as well as project management. Excellent organizational and communication skills are a must as you’ll be collaborating and working with multiple development and support teams inside of Blizzard, and contractors outside of Blizzard.
Interested candidates should be comfortable working under tight deadlines, have excellent organizational and time management skills, be easily adaptable to shifting priorities, and able to work with equal effectiveness, both solo and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Receive projects / tasks and see them through production.
- Coordinate, track, and manage project resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and are of top quality.
- Facilitate communication with other producers, production sound mixers, sound designers, re-recording mixers, picture editors, directors, and contractors.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Help to continually refine the audio post-production pipeline to increase production efficiency and quality.
- Communicate with production leadership and team leads on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Create contract requests and assist with tracking spend vs budgets.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to effectively guide projects through an audio post-production pipeline
- Able to accurately and efficiently manage a large volume of tasks
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

- Working knowledge of audio tools and programs, such as Pro Tools
- Knowledge of Blizzard and its games

This role is anticipated to be assigned as a hybrid work model position, with some work on-site at an Activision Blizzard office and some work remote.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
