The Challenge
Global Procurement is tasked with building strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement operations expertise to support T2 and its labels.
Reporting to the Manager - Procurement Operations, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Procurement Operations team and partner with business units across the company to facilitate the purchasing process.
What You’ll Take On
- Review assigned purchase requisitions and contracts to ensure appropriate purchasing method/structure, authorization, and compliance
- Create purchase orders in compliance with contract terms and manage the purchase order through its lifecycle
- Provide assistance, guidance, and training to stakeholders throughout the business on procurement related topics
- Support process improvement and change initiatives across the procurement to pay cycle
- Maintain vital databases and other reports
- Assist in corporate travel and other procurement related tasks as the need arises
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or relevant field of study is preferred and 1-3 years of buying, supply chain, procurement, or other related experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing a high volume of requests and providing related administrative support within a large organization
- Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with JD Edwards and other P2P platforms is a plus
