Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated Associate Operations Manager who possesses a passion for developing and implementing foundational, tactical, and operational solutions that drive optimal performance across the Creative Marketing organization. This role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Production & Operations and various teams including creative design and production, experiential, live broadcast, and streamed content, along with external agencies and partners. They will assist in ideating and authoring operational deliverables - from briefs to final presentations and understands that building relationships and excellent communication is the key to success. The Associate Manager is a self-starter and a highly skilled innovator with a sense of urgency who finds enjoyment in the discovery process.

Responsibilities:

● Work closely with department leadership to execute on organizational vision and strategies that positively impact and optimize Creative Marketing Operations & Production

● Instill operational excellence by improving systems, workflows, processes, best practices, tools, policies and governance

● Explore and conduct extensive discovery to evaluate cross-team workflows

● Identify opportunities and implement optimal solutions for automation of tasks and overall improved efficiency

● Support cross-functional teams in the creative marketing organization on various digital marketing and social media projects

● Collaborate on obtaining and building a centralizing cross-franchise go-to-market plans combined with Creative Marketing key beats to be used as an internal planning resource.

● Evaluate project management tools and support the training and onboarding of new and existing users

● Assist in building integrated marketing documentation - including strike and go to market resources – by reaching out to internal partners and building cross functional relationships

● Work with leaders and team members across the organization demonstrating inclusion, collaboration and communication skills

● Route and monitor contract for various business needs

● Invest in productive business relationships with external partners and vendors

● Serve as a thought partner to the Senior Manager and department heads

● Develop measurable individual goals that align with the team and organization’s goals

● Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

● Minimum four years of experience in project management, operations and production as it relates to systems, workflows, best practices and establishing and implementing processes, preferably in digital marketing, social media or entertainment industry

● Quick learner of tools and is proactive in enhancing knowledge for the betterment of projects

● Strong presentation skills and comfortability presenting ideas to senior management

● Extensive experience handling multiple demanding projects simultaneously.

● Impeccable organizational and time-management abilities

● Self-motivated to learn about our marketing content in support of innovating and progressing ideas forward, especially to bolster mobile/digital growth

● Strong ability to create, build and foster cross-team relationships

● Strong critical thinking skills and creative problem-solving skills

● Self-starter and ability to remain productive and positive in high-pressure situations

● Remarkable attention to detail as well as ability to understand the big picture

● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint

● Advanced written and oral communication skills

● Proficiency in Wrike, Zoom, Google Suite

● Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.

Pluses

● Scrum Master Certification (SMC)

● PMP Certification

● Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.
