Associate Mobile Engineer

Do you like playing games and building mobile apps?

As an Associate Mobile Engineer at Bungie, you will join our web and mobile team to build native mobile experiences used by millions of Destiny players. Together, you will deliver features that provide users with enhanced game utility and access to a broader gaming community. With mentorship from our mobile engineers and web service experts, you will learn to build and support mobile apps for world-class games.

With the uncertainty and rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, most positions at Bungie are expected to onboard and work from home for a significant portion of 2021. In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA). Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA will need to establish WA state residency within 45 days of a start date. Bungie’s work from home, flexible work schedule, and remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain mobile app features on Android and/or iOS
• Build and maintain web features for desktop and mobile browsers
• Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team
• Improve craft via practice, code reviews, and mentorship

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of core programming principles
• Proficient with Java/Kotlin for Android or Objective-C/Swift for iOS

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Experience with releasing mobile apps for Android and/or iOS
• Experience with web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, etc.)
• Familiarity with Destiny 2
