Gearbox Software is looking for an Associate Line Producer to join the Spark team. Spark is a platform and online game engine supporting both internal and external titles. An Associate Line Producer on Gearbox’s Spark Team is a critical role working directly with our developers and project producers. This role is responsible for supporting our team of developers with backlog organization, sprint planning, meeting facilitation, roadmapping, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support developers with communication, identifying and solving blockers, coordinating meetings, creating tasks, etc.
  • Contribute to and run scrum & agile ceremonies like daily standups, sprint plannings, and retrospectives
  • Take ownership of team roadmaps, schedules, and capacity by working with leads on identifying efforts and understanding team bandwidth
  • Deliver on team historical data such as velocity, meeting notes, and burndown charts
  • Work closely with team leads to build a healthy and vulnerable team atmosphere & culture
  • Ensure the established day to day workflow is being followed consistently by working with other producers and leadership
  • Foster effective communication and information flow between a variety of different disciplines
  • Assist the team in driving progress and obtaining status for feature teams or discipline departments
  • Help manage outsourcing efforts and projects through diligent oversight and goal-oriented objectives
  • Update Confluence and other documentation that is integral to the development and planning process

Key Attributes

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in a production or project management role
  • Basic understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies developing games
  • Experience creating and/or maintaining spreadsheets or schedules to forecast efforts, identify risks, and provide status updates
  • Familiarity or experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience managing hardware/software products through entire life cycle
  • Familiarity or experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Solid understanding of schedules, pipelines, and dependencies for developing games
  • PMP/ Scrum/Six Sigma or other relevant certification
