We are currently seeking an Associate Enterprise Architect to join a dynamic, multi-national enterprise with a role in the Information Technology organization.
As a direct report to Aristocrat’s Enterprise Architect, you will employ your architectural expertise to variety of projects and challenges. The Associate EA will assist in advancing Aristocrat’s EA practice by capturing & defining the current state architecture models, developing, and applying standards and best practices to solutions, reviewing proposals submitted to the Architecture Review Board, and advising on long-term strategies and roadmaps. The successful candidate will work with a variety of business & IT stakeholders, Solution & Technical Architects, and IT PMO to increase the maturity and understanding of enterprise architecture at Aristocrat and ensure long term business goals are achieved.What You'll Do
- Support the design and implementation of an Enterprise Architecture strategy that supports the organization's objectives.
- Maintain and grow architecture models and information at the enterprise level using Aristocrat’s enterprise architecture management tools
- Review and assess proposed solution architectures for alignment to EA practices, standards, and roadmaps as a member of the Architecture Review Board (ARB)
- Understand, support, and advocate for the Enterprise Architecture strategy along with assisting in the development and implementation/realization of the various strategic roadmaps.
- Develop and refine Principles, Standards and Reference Architecture
- Review solution requirements and specifications for understanding and clarity with stakeholders and business analyst
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, Business Stakeholders, Business Engagement Managers, subject matter experts and others.
- Analyze the current state architecture to proactively identify technology risk targets and develop mitigation plans.
- Provide regular, timely reporting on information security topics as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Business Analysis; additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience analyzing and documenting business solutions, systems, technologies, processes, integrations, data.
- Solid knowledge of modelling languages including UML, ArchiMate, BPMN.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
- Excellent modelling, visual communication, written, and presentation skills.
- Effectively communicate using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills.
- Critical thinking.
- Experience with the LeanIX is preferred.
- Knowledge of LeanIX is preferred.
