Your role within Activision Blizzard Media
You will be responsible for driving direct advertising revenue as a part of the advertising insights team. This includes participating in developing thought leadership projects, executing research, conducting analysis and presentations for clients and internal customers, panel management, project management and working along our marketing measurement and data science teams.
This role reports to the Head of Advertising Insights and works closely with the Research Leads as well as the rest of the Research, Marketing, Sales & Product teams to carry out the roadmap for quantitative and qualitative research related to ad effectiveness & user experience at ABM.
- Developing and carrying out thought leadership projects with the team focusing on unique perspectives and tools to advance our industry leadership in gamer knowledge
- Deliver research to stakeholder teams - Sales & Product - showcasing the impact of advertising on our players and brands
- Build stories and support on vertical narratives to help advance our sales strategy
- Build stories relating to player sentiment and user experience informing our game studios on iterative journey changes
Skills & Attributes
- BA/BS in business, marketing, analytics or related fields recommended
- 10 years of experience, preferably in a marketing or media environment
- Experience in executing research plans from survey design to presentation expected
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management and communication skills
- Effective data visualization skills
- Strong team player, works well collaboratively
- Additionally a self-starter: Energetic, passionate, curious and takes initiative with strong follow-through to quality delivery required
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills to succinctly discuss the methodology and insights derived
- Excellent ability to communicate analytics to a non-technical audience
- Interest in gamer insights, behavior and analytics necessary
- SQL experience a plus / willingness to learn a must.
