We are seeking an organized and motivated Associate Digital Product Manager to join the Magic the Gathering: Arena team. This is a rare career opportunity and unique challenge to take a distinguished paper product into a digital free to play giant.
What you'll do:
As an Associate Digital Product Manager, you have the right mix of passion for magic, technical problem solving, and content evaluation to work a fast-paced, creative environment. You are results-oriented, imaginative, and intellectually curious. On a regular day you will:
- Enter and maintain crucial data supporting the Magic the Gathering Arena economy and events.
- Support the team keeping the game fun and engaging.
- Participate in brainstorming and discussion around development and maintenance of game features and systems.
What you'll bring:
- Experience with Microsoft Office and JIRA.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with data-entry tools and working with JSON/XML type files.
- Comfortable digging into problems and trouble-shooting bugs.
- Comfortable with a workload that changes day-to-day as needs change.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to communicate sophisticated situations clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency at multi-tasking.
Preferred but not required:
- Degree in a technical field (math, computer science, etc).
- Familiar with Free to Play game economies.
- Interest in how to build and maintain complex game systems.
- Exposure to Magic: The Gathering as a player – you grok the nuances of the paper product and the digital world.
