Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking an Associate Digital Marketing Manager for console, PC, and online brands. We are looking for a consumer-oriented person who is interested in the online marketing of video games. This individual will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing and will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of our online marketing strategies on AAA titles and leading the digital campaigns for smaller titles.
- Lead AA title projects and support AAA title projects across the Ubisoft portfolio with a focus on developing content strategy for web, influencer strategy across platforms, and social strategy across owned channels
- Responsible for development of digital strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and measurement/reporting across designated titles, both pre and post launch
- Lead projects including but not limited to research, writing briefs and briefing agencies, competitor analysis, internal reporting, creative trafficking and reviews, creator campaign management, social posting, social calendar management, and copywriting
- Serve as a key partner to agencies and internal production teams, with Senior support
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Brand, PR, Community, Media, CRM, Partner Marketing) to coordinate and optimize tactics and programs; heavily support coordination of executional details and facilitate information sharing; elevate “red flags” to Seniors
- Work with Insights team to identify proper benchmarks and goals for tactics; monitor progress and contribute optimization recommendations to apply learnings as we go, including from competitive research and content trends
- Develop and execute creator campaigns working with the Creator team to strategically solve marketing opportunities
- Leverage reporting to make insight driven optimizations to content strategy on an ongoing basis
- Make websites the #1 destination for our content including all content strategy, news roundups from internal/external sources, etc.
- Utilize social tools to inform strategies, drive optimization, and develop relevant content programs and recommendations
- Write copy, post social content and YouTube trailers for select titles
- Lead creation of social content calendar and align digital marketing content with PR calendar, community calendar, and overall content calendar; assist in social channel management
- Identify digital marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
- Manage projects from start to finish under guidance of manager; create simple project plans and plans for execution
- Ability to communicate up; ability to effectively speak with both internal and external partners/agencies to articulate ideas, needs, and resolve straightforward situations
- Ability to identify and flag problems with enough time for manager to provide action plan; proactively proposes solutions to manager; can follow clear direction
- Ability to influence manager and internal/external teams on some day-to-day project challenges
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience working in the field of consumer marketing, digital marketing, or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of digital and social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, research and analytics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, please provide examples of and/or links to written work
- Strong time management skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions orientated
- Fluent and active participant in digital and social media channels
- Passion for internet and gaming culture a plus
- Entertainment or video game industry experience a plus
