Associate Data Analyst - Live Operations Intern

EA’s Capital Games studio has an exciting internship opportunity for an Associate Data Analyst - Live Operations Intern to join our analytics team! In this role, you will work directly on Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes with a focus on experimentation and testing. Working closely with product managers, you will be responsible for vetting proposed tests, proposing tests yourself, gathering data, analyzing results, and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end analytical guidance and support for the studio’s ongoing experiments, partnering closely with product managers
• Analyze and tell a story from surfaced findings
• Construct clear visualizations and dashboards
• Build custom data sets to improve SQL performance and efficiency
• Proactively communicate and present findings to key stakeholders, which may include technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Psychology, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college/university
• We are only considering students who are slated to graduate in fall of 2022 or spring of 2023
• You must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Experience utilizing statistical analysis, tests, and tools (such as R or Python) to validate experiment results for significance and validity
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B or multivariate tests
• Comfortable writing SQL to extract data from large data sources
• Passionate about video games!
