We’re looking for an experienced Associate Art Director / ACD-type to lead the creative output for brand and performance marketing. This person will be responsible for ideation against key messaging thematics, and managing a creative team, in addition to a team of production designers and videographers to help execution of creative content in support of marketing and PR efforts. A successful candidate should be able to ideate and create nimbly, yet constantly push for creative innovation. They should mentor and build their team, and strive to work in partnership with marketers to achieve brand and business goals. Candidate should be familiar with multiple creative formats, with specific expertise in creating digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy and creative direction of consumer facing marketing creative that strongly resonates with a range of global audiences while maintaining brand consistency
- Along with Performance or Brand Marketing, help develop and inform creative briefs that provide strategic insights to inspire creative concepts and ideas
- Work with either internal teams or our agency partners to produce standout and strategically focused global campaigns supporting the goals of world-class creative and highly efficient, data driven assets
- Collaborate with other cross-functional team members working to concept and produce advertising across multiple media formats
- Provide creative direction, guidance and oversight to internal and external creative teams
- Partner with Design and Art cross-functional departments to continuously inform and infuse the latest gameplay with asset creation
- Understanding of performance marketing principles, best practices, and the data that drives measurable results
- Steward creative executions that speak to our global customer audience in the channel appropriate way, balancing the fine line between resource constraints and customization
The Ideal Candidate Has
- 8-12 years relevant experience delivering creative work on projects, across a variety of touch points
- Background from a creative agency or in-house creative / design department
- Creative book that reflects work from best-in-class brands, startups, tech companies, gaming
- Experience overseeing creative teams and/or agenciesExperience managing creative ideation, and leveraging team members for production / scaling of assets
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced, iterative and independent environment
- Experience guiding teams, agencies and production partners and experience rolling up their sleeves to do the work when necessary
- Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an integrated marketing environment
- Experience working with global and remote teams
- Experience working with data & insights in a results oriented environment
- Demonstrated capability driving innovation in the performance marketing space
- Communication skills, experience responding to briefs creatively, presenting ideas and concepts to stakeholders, collaborating and iterating based on feedback from cross-functional partners
