Our Marketing Team exists to tell the story of Electronic Arts and expand the positive power of play. This encompasses all our amazing games and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, FIFA, Apex Legends, Battlefield 2042, and It Takes Two (Game of the Year, 2021). The Design Intern will be responsible for creating logos, illustrated graphics, moodboards, sketches, key art, campaigns and other elements for visual identities that reach a global audience. They will also shadow various franchise creative leads, learning things like craft, design process and presentation skills. The role will contribute to a major EA franchise such as Apex Legends, Battlefield, the Sims, or Star Wars. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the summer of 2023 and are slated to graduate in Fall of 2023 or Spring of 2024.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $20 - $31
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $19 - $25
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $27 - $31
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $20 - $25
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $27 - $31

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k). Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
