Associate Brand Artist

Crystal Dynamics is seeking an artist to assist our brand and marketing team to help visually represent core brand and marketing materials. As an associate brand artist – you will leverage the art style of our games to create a wide range of assets on multiple mediums, including but not limited to web graphics, social media, ad creatives, photography, posters and videos. As an associate brand artist, you must be versatile in working with and manipulating already-created art assets into polished, usable formats across the same wide range of mediums.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create assets for our games’ websites, social media, and other external communication
• Create 2d assets to support our marketing and PR initiatives – ad creatives, posters, presentation sheets, t-shirt designs, mock ups, etc
• Create video assets for marketing trailers, community videos and streaming
• Retouching, manipulate image composition, and performing basic paint overs when necessary
• Navigate game clients and editors to compose, frame, and capture high-quality screenshots

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ professional experience in a comparable graphic design or artist position
• Experience with the game industry or in a video game studio – including working with 3D game assets to produce hi-resolution renders
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Master Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator
• Able to work well in a collaborative team environment, and within an iterative design process
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and able to work to deadlines
• Knowledge and passion for video games

SPECIAL NOTE: ** A portfolio submission is required for this position. Please focus this portfolio on personal contributions to your projects. Please include a shot breakdown specifying what you were directly responsible for creating. Considered portfolios should include the following:

1. 10-15 best examples of your work showcasing your ability to iterate on realistic and high fidelity environments, characters, and other requirements listed in the above description
2. Cinematic or Photography examples showcasing your eye for lighting and composition may be accepted in addition to a strong 2D portfolio
