Associate Audio Director

We're looking for an Associate Audio Director to work alongside our growing audio team to help define the audio vision of our upcoming titles.
You’ll work with our Audio Director to help guide the implementation of sound, dialogue and music in line with technical and creative intent. You will be key in setting up the framework to create high quality audio for our titles
This role will be initially based on our Internal Prototype team where you will have a great opportunity to make an impact from day 1.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the audio requirements to help prove prototype goals.
- Ensure work is specified appropriately.
- Create style and technical guides for the sound designers to follow.
- Design audio systems, for execution by cross discipline teams.
- Continually learn new software, technology and techniques
- Translate audio visions into audio production plans.
- Liaise with other discipline Directors to make sure the audio approach pulls towards the project's holistic goals.
- Help guide the project's core leadership through building appropriate audio staffing expectations for development.
- Experience working within sfx, music & dialogue pipelines for video games
- Shipped multiple AAA games in an audio role.
- A background in collaboration, requiring communication across teams
- Deep knowledge of current audio engines, Wwise mandatory.
- Implementing audio into game engines such as Unreal.
- Excellent knowledge of current audio tools such as Reaper
- Demonstrable examples of prior leadership behaviours and/or responsibilities

The interview process for the Associate Audio Director roles is made up of 2 stages:
First interview (60 minutes) – An interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with our Audio Director and a member of the Audio team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
Final interview (45 minutes) – A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
