YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an exceptional Associate Artist (Junior Designer) to join the Activision Marketing Creative team at our global headquarters in Santa Monica, CA. The Marketing Creative team is the heart and soul of Activision. With a full range of production, video, and design services, our team supports our global organization in the development of unique and strategic messaging across various audiences including customers, press/media, partner organizations/industry peers, and our valued employees. Our team sets the standard for quality and innovation in all our communications, and we’re growing, so it’s a great time to join us!

This role includes but is not limited to the following tasks/duties:

• Work with our global Internal Communications, Human Resources, and PR/Marketing teams.
• You’ll create innovative digital and print assets to market our epic entertainment franchises.
• Be passionate about gaming,
• Understand the value of collaboration, design process and tight deadlines.
• Leverage our franchise’s style guides to create high quality marketing material.

PLAYER PROFILE

• Online portfolio, highlighting your direct contributions. Submissions without a portfolio will not be considered. At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for digital and print.
• Ability to articulate design challenges and the design process.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
• Hungry to learn and grow.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of production design experience in an agency or an in-house creative team.
• Design and produce marketing deliverables and presentations.
• Proficient visual designer.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment, while turning out high quality work.
