Your Mission:
The Associate Artist- 3D Motion graphics role provides creative and technical support services to all engaged departments, Marketing, PR, PMG, and development studios, to produce high-quality art assets, which are primarily videos. Typical end use for assets include marketing, social, internal, reference, and more per client’s need.
- Develop character animation for trailers and user acquisition assets using in-game character models
- Assist in the conversion of in-game FBX 3D assets to a Cinema 4D and Maya pipeline
- Collaborate with the rest of the UA Team to produce high quality renders
- Work in an organized manner respecting established workflows to allow for inter-department collaboration and for external agencies use
- Coordinate with other team members to add desired effects to projects in development
- Other duties, as assigned
Player Profile:
- Proficiency in Maxon Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya and Redshift
- 3D Design including look-development, character rigging, texturing, scene assembly and lighting
- Understanding of FX/Simulation of hair, particles, volume and fluids effects
- General understanding of the CG pipeline and playing different roles within it, depending on the project
- Experience working with in-game 3D character models
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects CC
- Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Good listener and able to take constructive criticism
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and be self-sufficient when it comes to priortizing deadlines
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Great attention to detail and quality control
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of the video game industry a plus
