Associate Art Producer 1 (Unannounced Project)

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Pixelberry Studios is looking for an Associate Art Producer to assist the team in producing Anime and Western Cartoon style art content for a new project.

With frequent releases to coordinate and working with multiple art teams, the Associate Art Producer should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced & creatively-driven environment. The ideal candidate for this role is a highly-organized individual who is interested in learning more about the mobile games industry and has a keen eye for artistic details.

Our headquarters are in Mountain View, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.

Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as a point of contact between internal teams and outsourcing partners
• Each day you’ll review outsourced art assets to make sure partners are delivering their milestones
• Write art briefs and gather reference to clearly describe our art needs to outsourcing partners.
• Organize art content dates while making sure assets are properly tracked in a pipeline
• Manage invoicing and budgeting from multiple outsource partners
• Assist with documentation on ongoing and changing art production processes
• Identify, communicate, and help to improve processes within the Production department

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in internal games production or college degree in relevant field (game design, art or fashion)
• Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate and resolve conflicts among teams
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of traditional art principles and theory
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
• Familiarity with Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet software
• Self-starter attitude, taking initiative to improve processes and assist team members
