Associate Digital Media Planner
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an Associate Digital Media Planner to join the Global Growth Marketing team and help activate impactful, industry-leading digital campaigns. This planner will report to the Associate Manager, Search and Video and will assist in the planning, executing, and optimizing of Blizzard's brand and performance ad campaigns on paid search and video (primarily YouTube).

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Search and YouTube Campaign Planning – 20%
- Work alongside strategy, operations, CRM, and other activation team members to plan global search and YouTube advertising campaigns, including branding and performance initiatives
Campaign Activation – 45%
- Support the building and optimizing of paid search and YouTube ad campaigns for Activision Blizzard’s acquisition and monetization initiatives
- Perform necessary ad operations duties, including building pixels and trafficking assets
- Follow internal QA processes such as generating screenshots, live links, and placement information
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners to establish and maintain content calendars, assets, and copy for all paid campaigns
- Take ownership of relevant financial tracking, help ensure proper billing and payment to vendors
Reporting and Optimizations – 30%
- Perform daily pacing and performance-based optimizations across all active search and YouTube initiatives
- Proactively surface key insights and recommendations that drive positive business results
Partnerships – 5%
- Maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and international counterparts
- Participate in larger team projects on the future of media buying and activation
Qualifications
- 1+ years of previous paid media experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with concurrent deadlines
- Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently
- Strong Math and Excel skills; proficiency with other MS Office products
- Comfort owning and managing high budgets/investment levels
- Flexible work hours, weekend and evening work will be required from time to time
- Certification in Google Ads or Microsoft Search a plus
