Video Editor

Certain Affinity is the largest independent developer in Texas, based out of Austin, and a growing presence in Toronto, Canada. You have a strong understanding of all aspects of video production and are a proficient content creator. Much of the required work will involve capturing footage from game engines. Some experience with game development tools is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit game footage for use in multiple applications
• Assist Video Editor with post production tasks
• Support videography events with set-up and operation
• Integrate created content into various source control and game platforms
• Assist with maintenance and operation of field and studio equipment
• Assist with VO, foley, and other audio related tasks

Requirements & Skills

• 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with industry standard video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Can demonstrate previous work in a high quality portfolio

Extra Credit

• Experience working with multichannel audio formats; 5.1, 7.1, etc
• Has worked with Premiere Pro, Resolve, Nuendo, Reaper, or Sound Forge
• Familiarity with motion graphics created in After Effects
• Has worked with Unreal Engine and/or Wwise
• Coding or scripting experience
