Assistant Project Manager - Events - 12 Months FTC

Job Summary:
Square Enix Germany is looking for an ambitious, highly organised, and collaborative Assistant Project Manager Events to join the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online (FFXIV) marketing team based in Hamburg.
The successful candidate will be fluent in both German and English, thrive in a fast-paced and agile interdisciplinary team, whilst working with multiple international stakeholders.
The Assistant Project Manager Events will be well organized and able to commit to multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a keen eye for detail.

Key Deliverables:
- Determine project schedules and manage the wider events group to achieve goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with a wide group of international stakeholders in the successful delivery of key Square Enix events.
- Initiate and chair regular meetings between stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and information flow.
- Develop strategic and creative concepts to engage and entertain the players.
- Build and manage a budget plan and ensure compliance through the group.
- Manage regular and transparent updates to communicate through the group.
- Contact and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Support Marketing Director as and when required.
- Track learnings, reflect and share in order to build best practice through the group for future projects and management of events.
- International travel will be required.

Executive Director Marketing, Western Strategic Lead, Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager, PR Manager, International Community Team, International Strategy Team, Legal Department, Creative Studios, Finance.

Essential:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Event management experience
- Experience of working across multi-disciplinary departments and international markets
- High performer, innovative and creative
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing deadlines without compromising quality
- Analytical, communication and organizational skills
- Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the games industry, either within agency or publisher
- Experience in project management
- Passionate about the entertainment and gaming industry
- Degree or equivalent

- Ability to speak other languages (e.g., French, Japanese)
