Assistant Producer Student Worker

Do you enjoy empowering developers and technical artists to do their best in the midst of complex production constraints, helping them untangle budget considerations, multi-team dependencies, and deeply understanding needs of millions of diverse customers? Our Graphics team is seeking a highly motivated student worker to support us with planning and project management.You should be very comfortable with coordinating tasks, planning, and following up on set plans and activities. You will be a core member of our Graphics team. Your main responsibilities will be to project manage the tasks of the team, liaise with all team members and communicate updates during regular meetings. As an Assistant Producer student worker at Unity, you will be learning how to help drive the planning and maintenance of features for an interdisciplinary development team to build future generations of graphics technology.
Responsibilities
- You will be working with the lead & local technical producers to assist in coordination activities and projects for the team
- You will assist and support the Graphics team with completing projects in a timely and successful way
- You will be an active member of the team and provide updates in team meetings on project progress
- You will learn about and contribute to the planning and direction of the development and production of Unity products
- You will broaden your experience, especially if you are interested in becoming an associate producer in a games company
- You will have the opportunity to build relationships with employees and managers in a technical environment
Requirements
- You are currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree within and related area such as Video Gaming/Computer Science or Project Management
- Some experience in game production and working cross disciplinary teams on personal, academic, or internship projects
- Self -motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Good level of English and excellent communication skills
Bonus points
- Its an advantage if you have knowledge of the games industry pipelines and processes, efficient production processes, and coordinating multiple small team efforts
- Understanding of agile software development processes is a plus
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello/Favro) is also an advantage
