We are looking for someone like you to become our awesome new Assistant Animation Producer and join our passionate and talented Animation team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.

Assistant Animation Producer role:

The Assistant Animation Producer is a brand new role dedicated to supporting the Head of Animation and to assisting all project teams to meet their creative and quality requirements.

You will work in conjunction with the Head of Animation to make informed decisions on work methods and priorities and assist with the successful prioritisation of animation tasks.

As part of the animation team, you will play a key role in driving the completion of project goals and highlight bottlenecks & blockers that may impact these.

This role would suit someone looking to make a break into a fantastic career in animation and games development; a current understanding of the animation process and pipeline is essential.

The Rebellion Animation team is responsible for bringing characters for our multiple titles to life. The team work with Design and Character Art ensuring that the animation is in line with the creative direction of the project.

The Animation team here at Rebellion is currently in a transitional period, with a new Head of Animation bringing a new direction to the team and projects – this really is an exciting time to join us!

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Animation to assist all project teams in meeting their creative and quality requirements.
• Help make informed choices in conjunction with the Head of Animation & team leads on work methods, development pipeline, priorities, and available resources.
• Give progress updates to studio leadership, while managing deadlines and deliverables.
• Produce reports & charts to illustrate the animation production rate
• Tracking & creation of animation schedules,
• Work with the Head of Animation to balance their schedule
• Assist with the successful prioritization of tasks to meet project and team goals
• Actively participate in all development of the team
• Strong focus on production and management
• Assisting with the coordination of internal and external teams
• Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communication, organisation, process, and accountability across all departments.
• Recognise and highlight blocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals.

Requirements

• Understanding of animation
• Understanding of the animation pipeline/process
• Expert user of Excel
• Good knowledge of project management tools and methods such as Jira.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
