Position Overview
Blizzard Entertainment seeks a talented individual, who is responsible for leading community management for Overwatch/Call of Duty franchise. We are looking for an experienced manager with proven experience in community management and social media engagement.
The ideal candidate is an individual with in-depth game playing experience and high-level understanding of community and social media platforms/content.
The person needs to be creative, self-motivated and proactive and should be able to set best community and influencer marketing strategies and communicate well with both HQ and local stakeholders for all the projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute community/influencer-related programs and content for Overwatch and Call of Duty franchise in Korea
- Inform and engage Korean players through forums, social media channels, streams and other venues.
- Manage franchise owned media such as Battle.net app, YouTube, and other social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis.
- Plan YouTube and social media content that can increase player engagement in line with in-game content beat and promotion.
- Evaluate and analyze social media content including YouTube seek effective ways to drive improvement.
- Provide meaningful feedback on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions to ensure optimal engagement, community impact, and enhanced company/franchise reputation.
- Develop reports on community activities and pulse/voice of the community.
- Provide editorial direction, planning, and guidance to our community publishing efforts.
- Build/manage relationships with community partners such as fan sites, influencers, and external key community managers to promote our communication efforts
- Build strong relationships within the team, the HQ community, and the stakeholders within the company and the industry.
- Collaborate with other teams/departments to develop and execute the company’s Integrated Marketing Communication plan.

- Battle.net 앱, YouTube와 같은 프랜차이즈 owned 미디어 및 Instagram, Facebook 및 Twitter와 같은 기타 소셜 미디어 채널 관리
- 게임 콘텐츠 업데이트 및 프로모션에 맞춰 대행사와 함께 플레이어 참여를 높일 수 있는 영상 및 소셜 미디어 콘텐츠 기획
- YouTube를 포함한 소셜 미디어 콘텐츠에 대한 평가/분석 및 개선점 모색
- 지속적인 커뮤니티 모니터링을 통해서 센티먼트, 이슈사항, 우려 및 제안 등 의미 있는 커뮤니티 피드백을 취합하여 내부 공유 및 이와 관련된 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 진행
- 팬 사이트, 인플루언서(콘텐츠 크리에이터 및 스트리머) 및 외부 주요 커뮤니티 관리자와 같은 커뮤니티 파트너와 관계 구축 및 관리
- 본사 및 타부서, 업계 내 이해 관계자들과 강력한 관계 구축
- 타 팀/부서와 협력하여 회사의 통합 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 계획을 개발하고 실행합
Requirements
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in community management, social media, public relations (PR), digital marketing or other public communication-related fields
- Position title may be adjusted depending on candidate's experience and expertise.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Overwatch and other popular PC and mobile games in Korea including PC Bang (IGR)
- High-level understanding of social media platforms, particularly for YouTube
- Strong oral and written communication skills; can clearly present ideas in communications
- Business level of English skill
- Comfortable with MS office and Adobe Photoshop

- Familiarity with gaming culture, streaming and Activision Blizzard games including Overwatch required
- An exceptional insight of social media trends and gaming community and its behavior
