The Opportunity:
The Assistant Art Director will be working closely with the Art Director for support. The Assistant Art Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining a clear vision and delivering a captivating visual message that speaks directly to audience and is also responsible for managing and coordinating the work of the creative team, together with the AD to ensure all produced resources align with the overall vision of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Art Director and provide support.
- Collaborate with Directors and Producers to establish clear ideas and concepts.
- Determine how best to represent a concept visually
- Produces art layouts by developing concepts, sketches, storyboards to visualize ideas.
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to the creative team to ensure all work produced meets creative brief.
- Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines and budgets.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in concept art in the animation/film industry or other relevant experience.
- Knowledge of digital painting, 3D software and proficiency in design software.
- Understanding of art fundamentals: (lighting, composition etc.)
- Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
- Excellent communication and time management skills
