Come join the new Amazon Games Montreal Studio!

Help us build the new Montreal Studio. You will be a founding member of the studio and contribute to the creation of a AAA game, an online multiplayer title based on a new IP.

As Concept Artist, you will use your talent, creativity and skills to contribute to the creation of iconic 3D characters and immersive environments. You collaborate with peers who enjoy an inclusive communication style and you make sure your work integrates well with the other game ingredients, providing the player with a unique gameplay experience.

Basic Qualifications

Qualifications de base

- Au moins 5 ans d’expérience d’utilisation des outils de création de contenu numérique, comme Photoshop, Painter, etc
- Portfolio illustrant l’éventail des styles, la créativité et le savoir-faire

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a concept artist for AAA games.
- 5+ years working with digital content creation tools such as Photoshop, Painter, etc.
- Portfolio showing style range, creativity and craftsmanship

Preferred Qualifications

- Baccalauréat en arts ou dans un domaine associé
- Capacité à produire du matériel de préproduction
- Regard affuté sur les formes, les contours, les structures et les silhouettes tant aux étapes de conception que d’illustration
- Bonne vision d’ensemble, de l’idée à sa mise en forme finale
- Capacité à transmettre des émotions à travers l’éclairage et la composition des scènes
- Capacité à agir comme mentor et à partager efficacement les connaissances
- Bonne maîtrise du français ou de l’anglais

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Art or in related field
- Ability to craft preproduction material
- A keen eye towards form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regards to illustration and design
- Solid approach from ideation to final concepts
- Ability to convey emotional intent through dramatic lighting and composition
- Ability to mentor and share knowledge effectively
- Good working knowledge of French and/or English
