Ta mission
Tu seras appelé(e) à créer et adapter l’éclairage dans nos différents mandats pour établir l’atmosphère des niveaux, et des cinématiques. De plus, tu travailleras en étroite collaboration avec les différents studios d'Activision. Finalement, tu seras amené(e) à participer à l’innovation de diverses techniques et processus afin d’améliorer la qualité des projets.
Tes objectifs
- Réaliser et maintenir l’éclairage de niveaux intérieurs et extérieurs, en utilisant des outils d’éclairage dynamiques et/ou statiques, afin de mettre en valeur une scène ou un personnage ;
- S’assurer que les livrables d’éclairage sont exécutés en fonction du plan de production ;
- Garder une balance entre la qualité visuelle et les requis de performance ;
- Garder un style artistique cohérent avec le style établi par le directeur artistique ;
- Travailler de pair avec l’artiste de niveau, l'artiste FX et l'équipe de direction artistique pour déterminer la meilleure approche pour résoudre les enjeux d’éclairage ;
- Travailler de pair avec le designer pour s’assurer que l’éclairage bénéficie aux missions, aux objectifs et au rythme du jeu ;
- Travailler de pair avec les programmeurs pour introduire de nouvelles techniques d’éclairage dans l’engin.
Profil du (de la) joueur (se)
- 1 an ou plus d’expérience en technique d’éclairage dans le jeu vidéo, le cinéma ou l’équivalent;
- Niveau avancé dans 3DS Max et Photoshop;
- Expérience avec l'éclairage dans un engin de jeu;
- Bonne connaissance des techniques d’éclairage ;
- Bonne connaissance des matériaux et shaders, et une connaissance de leur fonctionnement;
- Intérêt pour le côté technique et l’apprentissage de nouveaux outils;
- Habileté à gérer soi-même son travail avec un minimum de supervision;
- Excellent sens artistique et souci du détail;
- Très bonne compréhension du français et de l’anglais tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit;
- Passionné(e) pour le jeu vidéo;
Atout : Connaissance du HDR et de ses applications en éclairage;
Atout : Formation collégiale ou universitaire en art, multimédia, 3D ou l’équivalent.

Your Mission
You will be asked to create and tailor the lighting in our games to set the mood for each level and for the cinematics. You will also work closely with other Activision studios. You will contribute to innovating various techniques and processes in order to improve the quality of each project.
Your objectives
- Create and maintain the interior and exterior lighting levels using static and/or dynamic lighting tools to enhance a scene or a character;
- Ensure that lighting deliverables are created according to the production plan;
- Maintain a balance between visual quality and performance requirements;
- Maintain an artistic style that is consistent with the style dictated by the art director;
- Work with the level artist, FX artist and art direction team to determine the best approach to solving lighting issues;
- Work with the designer to ensure the lighting works well for the game’s missions, objectives, and pace;
- Work with the programmers to introduce new lighting techniques into the game engine.
Player Profil e
- One or more years of experience in lighting techniques for video games, movies or an equivalent;
- Advanced level of 3DS Max and Photoshop;
- Experience with lighting in a game engine;
- Good understanding of lighting techniques;
- Good understanding of materials and shaders and how they work;
- Interested in technical aspects and in learning new tools;
- Ability to manage your workload with a minimum of supervision;
- Excellent artistry and attention to detail;
- Excellent spoken and written French and English;
- Passionate about video games;
