Beenox est un studio de développement de jeux vidéo créé en 2000. Situé dans la belle ville de Québec, au Canada, Beenox est une filiale à part entière d’Activision Publishing Inc., chef de file mondial dans le développement interactif.
Le studio est fier de contribuer au développement des célèbres franchises Call of Duty et Crash Bandicoot. Par le passé, Beenox a également pris part au succès des franchises Skylanders, Spider-Man et Guitar Hero.

Principales tâches
- Réaliser le modeling des environnements et/ou des accessoires selon les contraintes techniques ;
- S’assurer du bon niveau de détail des objets ;
- Développer l’aspect technique et artistique des textures des environnements et/ou des accessoires ;
- Créer des textures qui répondent aux demandes du Directeur artistique ;
- Effectuer les éclairages sur les différents éléments et environnements ;
- Se tenir à jour sur les techniques afin d’améliorer ses connaissances et ses compétences ;
- Participer au build review.
Exigences
- Trois (3) ans d’expérience dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo ou l’équivalent ;
- Habileté à concevoir des objets et des environnements 3D, avec ou sans illustration ;
- Maîtrise de 3D Studio Max ou de Maya ;
- Connaissance de Photoshop ;
- Connaissance de Zbrush ;
- Capacité à appliquer la vision artistique établie par la direction artistique ;
- Compréhension des contraintes techniques du jeu vidéo ;
- Aisance à s’adapter aux outils internes et à un environnement en constante évolution;
- Passion pour le jeu vidéo;
- Très bonne compréhension du français et de l’anglais tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

MAIN TASKS
- Deliver environments and/or props models according to technical constraints;
- Ensure proper level of detail of objects;
- D evelop technical and artistic aspects of textures for environments and/or accessories;
- Create textures that meet the demands of the artistic director;
- Complete lighting on the different elements and environments; • Keep up to date on techniques to improve knowledge and skills;
- Participate in build reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of experience in the video game industry or equivalent;
- Ability to design 3D objects and environments,
- with or without illustration;
- Proficiency in 3D Studio Max or Maya;
- Knowledge of Photoshop;
- Knowledge of ZBrush;
- Ability to apply artistic vision established by the Art Director;
- Understanding of the technical constraints of video games;
- Capacity to adapt to internal tools and a changing environment;
- Passion for video games;
- Very good knowledge of French and English both spoken and written.
