Responsibilities
- Leading the Romanian Art and Animation Team
- Reviewing time log reports of the art and animations, check due dates/backlogs
- Allocating roles to Art Team members based on specialization and project requirements
- Managing the creation of 2D designs (art and animations) for different types of assets (characters, concepts, backgrounds, logos, UI, FX) across designated projects, maintaining quality, design and pipeline requirements, collaborate with Art and Animation Leads, who will be a part of the team
- Knowing and understanding the features of the projects to make sure they are properly communicated visually
- Road mapping the longer-term view for the 2D design needs
- Creating project schedule for the art team in line with the overall project timelines
- Communicating project schedule and deliverables timelines to the 2D art/animation team
- Holding regular 1:1 meeting with artists/animators on the project team to mentor them in their professional and self growth
- Define priorities and workflow of the art pipeline to meet production goals
- Communicating project status, prioritized goals and updated timelines to the art team regularly
- Providing guidance to the art team to help translate concept briefings into production art options
- Reviewing concept art to provide feedback to the team
- Collaborating with the group manager and all the other CC departments
- Contributing to art department meetings to ensure efficiency and productivity of the department
- Contributing to the creative ideas and illustrations to present the creative vision into a concept
- Be proactive in communication and find solutions for problems that arise as development progresses.
- Experience work with JIRA, Asana might be plus
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading teams
- Proven experience in illustration and concept art
- Strong general art foundation
- Ability to create versatile types of art might be good
- Expert level of an illustration software
- Ability to quickly provide ideas
- Strong passion for gaming
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
- Excellent organization and efficient time management skills
