Role Overview
CrowdStar is looking for an Art Producer for its leading lifestyle and fashion game Covet Fashion. You are a planner who is passionate about gaming, style, and creating meaningful, elevated experiences for our users. As Art Producer, reporting to the Development Director, you will prioritize and lead the daily production of art tasks and content. You will schedule and organize upcoming tasks, improve capacity planning, and develop new processes to aid in the art production pipeline. You will work with the Product and Content teams and keep the Art team informed about the components, scope, and goals for upcoming projects. You will represent and advocate for the Art team and ensure that they are receiving all the support and tools that they need to perform their responsibilities to the best of their ability. This position can be filled remotely but will work with Art and Development teams located in San Francisco, Toronto, and Hyderabad.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily execution of art tasks and keep the Art team informed about the priorities, components, scope, and goals for upcoming projects
- Plan and prioritize upcoming art tasks and stay on top of daily deadlines and future content
- Attend and recap meetings, provide notes and action items to ensure all involved parties are aligned on next steps
- Establish and refine processes to increase efficiency on the Art team
- Collaborate with Product, Content, and Engineering to determine mutual vision, goals, and project requirements for product features
- Advocate on behalf of the Art team and ensure that they are receiving all the support and tools needed
- Report status and provide schedules and timelines for all upcoming and current projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in game studio development
- 2+ years experience working with 2D game art pipeline and processes
- Experience prioritizing and juggling multiple projects and meeting daily deadlines
- Experience working cooperatively with artists, engineers, product managers, and designers
- Flexible, focused on process improvement and problem-solving
- Live ops experience
- Experience with production tools (e.g. JIRA, Trello, G-Suite)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and diplomatic skills
- Interest in motivating and empowering creative teams to produce results
Nice-to-Haves
- Basic knowledge of art tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) and the ability to perform basic art tasks
- Experience in mobile game development
- Interest in gaming and the fashion industry
