What We Need:
Our Foothill Ranch studio is looking for an experienced Art Producer to contribute to the next iteration of the award-winning NBA 2K franchise. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and tracking our environment and character art pipelines and assets.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with the production team and the project’s leadership to organize and manage a multidisciplinary game development art team
- Create and manage a frictionless art production pipeline that improves predictability and capacity planning while reducing risk and wasted effort
- Interface with partner development teams to understand, anticipate, and create high-quality deliverables on time and according to schedule
- Maintain healthy relationships with internal teams and external partners, and work with them to implement our high standards
- Organize and track the progress of art assets and regularly communicate status to partner teams and management
Who You Are:
- 5+ years’ experience in the video game industry as a Producer with internal teams
- 1 or more shipped games with significant scope of ownership
- Experience working with a globally distributed workforce, such as collaborating with motion capture studios, sister facilities, 3 rd party outsourcers, etc.
- Significant experience and working knowledge of art creation pipelines, preferably as an Art Producer, Outsource Coordinator, or Art Manager
- Understanding of asset creation techniques and tools (Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Substance Designer/Painter, ZBrush, etc.)
- Ability to break down art-related asks into actionable tasks
- A power-user of workflows, reports, and templates
- Experience with Shotgun, JIRA or other project management software
- Ability and willingness to cope with changes to requirements as a project evolves
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (timekeeping, scheduling, etc.)
- Ability to work well under pressure and with little direction
