Art Producer - Hybrid/Flexible

For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield. We are on the lookout for an Art Producer to join our growing Art Team, working on a variety of unannounced projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Producer to manage large art teams across multiple studios. Working closely with the Head of Art, the Art Producer will have a responsibility to deliver cohesive art solutions across all projects in the studios.
This is not a typical producer role; the candidate needs to have a working knowledge of all processes and pipelines within an art team. The candidate should believe in taking ownership and responsibility and be able to work and collaborate with teams to solve problems and achieve goals critical to success.
Responsibilities
- Managing and scheduling multiple departments within the art team, while ensuring that detailed milestones are agreed upon and delivered
- Consulting with producers and allocating art resources across multiple projects
- Organising centralised teams and making solid working practices
- Identifying areas for growth in the art department
- Create forecasts and predictions on resources required
- Constantly and proactively seek to improve the production processes, tools, and pipelines for multiple art disciplines
- Working with art directors on methodologies to facilitate effective planning
- Helping to structure and support outsourcing requirements
Requirements
- Solid experience working in a production role with experience on shipped console and/or PC titles
- A good understanding of games development pipelines
- Ability to identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, capacity, and design goals
- Extensive working knowledge of scrum, waterfall, and agile methodologies
- Experience in managing outsourcing workflows
- Excellent judgement and the ability to work autonomously
- Experience in high volumes of asset production and tracking
- Solid knowledge of industry standard task tracking software such as Jira, Excel, and MS Project
