We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Outsourcing Art Producer ready to partner with Guild Wars 2 development teams to build amazing art for players. You know how to organize a large volume of art requests and build good relationships with vendors to consistently output quality art on time and on budget. You’re ready to take on new challenges with established teams, helping improve pipelines, find efficiencies in processes, and increase output. You can grow an outsourcing team and pipeline and you aren’t afraid to try outsourcing new types of content.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with art and design on multiple projects to create processing schedules, and budget resources accordingly
- Manage relationships and contracts with old and new vendors
- Keep the pipeline full of requests to ensure efficient use of budget
- Develop and refine the outsourcing processes to increase production and quality
- Monitor asset development from requests to vendor production to in-game implementation
- Document studio requirements and processes to improve vendor capabilities
- Identify and mitigate risks, communicate status to teams and stakeholders
- Assist teams with dependency management, removing blocking issues, and communicating scheduling changes
- Track multiple intricate details across long timespans
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Mid to senior level experience with game production or similar field in entertainment
- Ability to create pipeline schedules and monitor the progress of department milestones and individual tasks against those schedules
- Experience using Agile game development methodologies
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel in art, design, programming, and management
- Ability to create and implement appropriate production processes customized to individual team needs while also synchronizing with standards
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Experienced at bringing clarity to ambiguity and adapting easily to change
- Experience working with large, cross-disciplined teams a plus
- Familiarity with budget ownership a plus
