What You’ll Do:
You will work with the Art Lead, Producer and external Creative teams to help us build an exciting new mobile social game. You will be a key part of the art team, managing all outsource pipelines keeping a keen eye on quality. You will:
- Support the Art Manager in creating briefs and providing artwork feedback on outsourcing (maintaining brand look).
- Make sure all assets are received, are technically sound and are archived.
- Maintain and improve upon the outsource pipeline as the project progresses.
- Work with the Producer to create and maintain the schedule for content creation.
- Act as the main point of contact for the outsourcing studio.
- Establish and attend any daily meetings/ stand-ups/ retro to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Conduct, track and maintain outsourcing partner reviews to highlight any repetitive issues and successes.
- Troubleshoot problems with outsourcing partners.
- Maintain a good overview of all existing assets and ensure any new briefs and/or items do not overlap too much with existing assets.
- Ensure outsourced assets are good value for money and not duplicating existing assets.
About You:
You should have at least 3 years of experience in art production managemen t in the creative arena for mobile platforms. You will have excellent attention to detail, a thorough knowledge of providing artistic feedback for game assets and experience partnering with distributed teams/outsource partners. You’ll have:
- A strong eye for art style details, design proportions and pleasing visual aesthetics.
- A solid grasp of Photoshop and ability to provide art feedback in written and sketch form where needed.
- The ability to feedback on texturing quality.
- Bonus: Understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR), Unity and basic 3D is a plus.
- Supervisory experience in leading international teams.
- Keen project management experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to challenge partners to ensure highest quality is achieved.
- A genuine interest in playing and making industry leading social games is a huge bonus.
